Apple has announced a third product showcase of the year, scheduled for October 28 in Los Angeles. The company has invited members of the press and social‑media influencers to a full‑day event it has dubbed “Pro and Tell.” Organizers say the focus will be on new Mac and iPad hardware.
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has confirmed earlier rumors that Apple plans to introduce touchscreen MacBooks, additional Macs powered by the M6 chip, and an iPad mini featuring an OLED screen. Sources indicate the touchscreen MacBooks will be equipped with M5 Pro and M5 Max processors and will come in 14‑inch and 16‑inch sizes. They are expected to be considerably lighter than current Pro models and to use OLED panels.
The event is also expected to include refreshed versions of the 14‑inch MacBook Pro and the iMac, both of which will run on the M6 chip that debuted in August with the latest Mac mini.
