AMD announced that its newest upscaling solution, FidelityFX Super Resolution 4.1, will soon be available on the Xbox Series S and Series X consoles, as well as on laptops, Radeon RX 6000‑series graphics cards, and handheld devices such as the Xbox Ally X. The rollout begins today for the RX 6000 series GPUs, alongside Ryzen AI Max 300 and 400 series hardware and Ryzen AI 9 300 and 400 series models.
The company first introduced the FSR 4.1 update for its Radeon RX 9000‑series GPUs in March, pledging later in the year to extend the technology to older graphics cards and portable platforms. The enhancement promises performance gains in more than 300 supported titles, among them Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 6 and Assassin’s Creed.
